Quando si parla di  magnesio (Mg2+ ) spesso si pensa ad una comune integrazione di sali  minerali.

E’ evidente che in gravidanza, cambiamenti ormonali, maggiore sforzo fisico e mentale, e l’utilizzo da parte del feto in accrescimento ne aumentano il fabbisogno giornaliero. Infatti, un apporto adeguato di magnesio aiuta l’utero a restare rilassato e a prevenire un parto prematuro poichè tra le importanti funzioni del magnesio rientra la regolazione delle contrazioni muscolari.
